Pre-Wedding Trial :
This is done prior to your wedding day, to select colours, makeup finish, definition, makeup style and to check sensitivity. This takes up to 1 1/2 hours. Bridesmaids and mums can be booked in too at the same time. The trial must be done in daylight - artificial light is not ideal. Your wedding day makeup is done in daylight so it is important to do the same for your trial. I am also really fussy with foundation matching! Your timings are done also so your morning runs smoothly and stress free.
Wedding Day for the Bride:
Makeup is applied according to dress, hair & accessories, again I travel to wherever you are getting ready. Makeup is ideally applied after hair is done, but occasionally done before depending on hairdresser and time. My makeup stays on all day, lipstick can be purchased or a complimentary sample will be given with a lipbrush.
Bridesmaids / Mums / Additional Guests:
You can book as many extra people in for makeup on the day as required. All bridal party can have trials if wish
A non refundable booking fee is required to book and confirm your wedding
A confirmed booking by Shimmer & Shine constitutes a legally binding agreement as per terms below; No booking is considered confirmed until a non refundable booking fee / deposit has been fully paid and a confirmation slip / terms & conditions form has been signed.
Non payment of deposit, such as returned cheques will terminate your booking until repayed, a minimum charge of £15 will be
added to cover my costs/bank charges. Non payment of balances due is unacceptable and will be forwarded to a third party for collection,
either debt collection or court proceedings will be taken. Refunds will only be given in the unlikely event of Shimmer & Shine being unable to continue with your booking, and a replacement makeup artist maybe offered. Balances are now to be paid on the day in Cash only
Travel, car park charges & toll charges may be charged.
